Phoenix Mentors in Action!
A group of Initial Point students stepped up this week to connect with Kuna Middle School’s Principal Wilson on an exciting new mentorship project. These high school leaders are stepping into mentorship roles to share their personal stories—drawing from their own experiences overcoming challenges and learning firsthand how to RISE. Now, they are extending a hand to guide and support middle schoolers who are navigating similar paths. The team officially kicked off this powerful partnership over pizza, and we can’t wait to see the inspiring impact they’ll make together!
Restorative Practices: Strengthening relationships, building accountability, rising together!
Our Initial Point staff spent today completing official certification in Restorative Practices! This evidence-based framework centers on building strong relationships, fostering mutual respect, and resolving conflicts through open dialogue. Through regular advisory circles and collaborative problem-solving, our teachers are equipping students with lifelong skills to take accountability and grow together as a community.
