Kuna parents and guardians are invited to "Connecting Together: Keeping Kids Safe – A Parent-Only Conversation". This evening is designed to help families navigate modern challenges and build stronger connections with their children.

  • Date: April 27th.
  • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
  • Location: KPAC (Kuna Performing Arts Center), located at 637 East Deer Flat Road, Kuna, ID 83634.
  • Audience: Intentionally tailored for parents and guardians only.

Featured Experts

The event features nationally recognized speakers providing real-world insights into youth safety:
  • SRO David Gomez ("Officer Gomez"): A digital safety expert with nearly 20 years in law enforcement. He specializes in helping families navigate online risks, social media trends, and digital safety.
  • Monte Stiles: A retired state and federal prosecutor with a 29-year career. He is a renowned speaker on drug prevention, youth leadership, and building safe communities.

Through Their Eyes: Teen Panel

A highlight of the evening is an open panel discussion featuring Treasure Valley youth. Facilitated by the Kuna Police Department, this session allows parents to hear honest perspectives directly from students regarding:
  • Vaping.
  • Digital safety.
  • The everyday experiences of today's teens.
